Account Deletion & Data Requests

Users and flight schools can request account deletion, data export, or correction through their school administrator or StratusLog support.

How to request deletion

  • Email support@getstratuslog.com with the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
  • Include your name, email address, school name, and whether you are requesting deletion of a user account, school workspace, or specific record category.
  • For security, StratusLog or the school administrator may need to verify identity and authorization before deleting or exporting records.
  • Students should generally contact their flight school first because the school controls many operational training and billing records.

Deletion timeline

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days. Practical deletion or deactivation timelines may vary depending on identity verification, school authorization, legal retention needs, aviation/business record obligations, billing disputes, security logs, and backup cycles.

What may be retained

  • Records the flight school must keep for legitimate aviation, tax, billing, dispute, or business purposes.
  • Security, audit, fraud-prevention, and abuse-prevention logs.
  • Transactional payment metadata needed for accounting, refunds, chargebacks, or compliance.
  • Encrypted backups until they expire under the applicable backup retention schedule.

Data export and correction

Users may also request access, correction, or export. StratusLog may route requests involving school-owned records to the relevant school administrator for approval and fulfillment.
